Italian Sparkling Triumph
Over the course of a decade at The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships, Ferrari Trento has consistently demonstrated its excellence by securing this prestigious title multiple times, reinforcing its commitment to quality across all of its labels. This recognition further affirms the suitability of the Trentino mountains for producing sparkling wines of absolute distinction, a vision first envisioned by Giulio Ferrari over 120 years ago.
In the 2023 edition of the competition, Ferrari Trento soared with an impressive haul of 9 gold and 3 silver medals, making a significant contribution to the success of Trentodoc and Italian sparkling wines in general. The competition, evaluating over 1000 labels from more than 19 countries annually, saw Italy emerge as the most awarded country with a total of 74 gold medals and 117 silver.
The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships has solidified its position as the foremost authoritative competition, a reputation bolstered by its founder, Tom Stevenson, and esteemed judges Essi Avellan and George Markus, all eminent figures in the world of oenology.
Commenting on this triumph, Tom Stevenson remarked, „Ferrari Trento is Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year for the third time in a row and an astonishing six times out of the 10 years The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships has existed, making it the most successful sparkling wine producer on the planet.“
